Symptom : Ocular myasthenia gravis (OMG)

I am a patient with ocular myasthenia gravis (OMG). Over 10 years ago, I suddenly experienced a gradual drooping of my left eyelid. As I got older, the feeling of weakness intensified; no matter how hard I tried, I was unable to fully open my left eye. This year, the drooping of my left eyelid worsened to the extent that it lowered down to my pupil. I visited several ophthalmologists, all of whom told me that it was a symptom of aging and there were no proactive solutions. I was so frustrated and thought to myself, “will I have uneven eyes for the rest of my life?”

Since I was not willing to give in to the situation, I started searching online for famous doctors. Fortunately, I found Dr. Wen. I came to the clinic almost as a last resort, in the hope of stimulating and restoring my nerves with Dr. Wen’s acupuncture treatment. Surprisingly, I experienced an improvement in my condition after receiving just three treatments. It was amazing and awe-inspiring! 

I couldn’t believe that my left eyelid would be able to lift by itself. After undergoing one more treatment program, I found that my eyelid could not only lift up on its own but would also stay lifted without drooping!

Now I can go out with joy and confidence. I am very grateful to Dr. Wen for enabling me to connect with people again and for bringing an end to that period of my life that was full of darkness and low self-esteem. I am extremely grateful to you, Dr. Wen!
