Symptom : Sore Neck and Shoulders
I suffered from contusions in my shoulder and back. I had been busy at work and sitting at my computer desk all day long.In addition, I often had to carry heavy objects after work. In 2006, I unfortunately had a fall at work, after which I started to experience soreness and tightness in my left shoulder and neck, to the extent that I was unable to stretch my arm backwardor to lift or rotate my arm. As time went by, I even struggled to put on my clothes, take a shower, go to the toilet or lift objects. I would often wake up in the night due to the pain. For two years, I visited all kinds of Chinese and Western medical hospitals and clinics; I even tried alternative treatments, such as Chinese traditional massages, acupuncture, pain relief patches and physical treatments. However, all of them were to no avail.
By chance, I came across an online article about Dr. Wen’s “scalp acupuncture” for the treatment of ailments such as “contusions in the shoulder and back”. I then drove to the Tze De Chinese Medical Clinic in Luzhou to receive treatment from Dr. Wen. Amazingly, the moment the needles were inserted, the subtle pain in my shoulder and back was alleviated significantly. Following a further ten treatment sessions of acupuncture, heat therapy, traditional Chinese massage and heat pads, my pain was significantly reduced; I was able to move my left shoulder freely. I really felt grateful to Dr. Wen for his medical skills.
Last September, I experienced a sudden pain in my right shoulder after liftingheavy luggage. Similarly to the pain in my left shoulder five years ago, I couldn’t stretch my right arm backward or lift it up freely. As I was busywith a number of private engagements, I only used the pain relief patches and heat pads that I had bought from a pharmacy. However, the pain persisted. It wasn’t until June this year that I made the time to receive treatment from Dr. Wen’s clinic on Nanjing E. Road. After Dr. Wen inserted the needles in my scalp, he asked me to lift my arm and stretch it backward. To my amazement, I was able to lift my right arm and stretch it backward to a great extent. After ten acupuncture treatments involving the insertion of needles in my scalp, ear and shoulder, I had almost fully recovered from the pain. At present, I am able to move my right shoulder freely, like how it used to be in the past.
Dr. Wen treats his patients as if they were his own family. He is compassionate and is a blessing to his patients. I am grateful for his skills in restoring my health. He is a good doctor and the present-day HuaTuo, the great ancient Chinese physician.
