Eczema

Symptom : Eczema

I had had eczema on my hands on and off for 20 years. I had taken and applied a huge number of medicines, all of which were only able to contain the symptoms and did not lead to any recovery. 

About one year ago, the eczema started to appear on my scalp. It made my scalp so itchy at night, especially in the summer, that it woke me up and I had to scratch the affected area. My scalp was so itchy that the skin was torn, red and oozy. I have no words to describe how I felt other than pain and itchiness.

With my friend’s recommendation, I traveled from Hsinchu to Taipei to visit Dr. Wen. I had never undergone acupuncture before, so I was actually a little scared. When it was my turn to see Dr. Wen, he inserted fire needles in the wounds on my scalp. At that moment, my whole body immediately became warm. The muscles in my scalp loosened up. The itching sensations were greatly relieved. It was an amazing feeling. I slept very well that night. 

After undergoing the entire course of treatment and taking the Chinese medicinal drinks, the eczema on my hands and scalp improved significantly. My sleep quality also improved. I felt very relaxed.
