Heavy Menstrual Bleeding

Symptom : Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD) and Heavy Menstrual Bleeding

It began when a good friend of mine noticed that my face was pale and my spirits werelow; they knew that something was wrong with my health and strongly recommended the prestigious Dr. Wen to me. Having decided to give it a shot, I travelled north from Hsinchuto visit Dr. Wen.

My long-term GERD has caused me to suffer from considerable heartburn. I was even prone to waking upin terror due to the choking sensation caused by the reflux of stomach acid back into my throat. For a few months, I experienced heavy menstrual bleeding which led to some awkward momentsduring classes and I would experience dizziness and cold sweats,almost causing me to pass out.

Even though I harbored doubts at that time, I was nevertheless fully aware of Dr. Wen’sreputation; thus, I agreed to receive intensive treatments three times a week. The results surprised me;my GERD was almost entirely cured. This miracle has increased my confidence in terms of being cured. Every time I visited Dr. Wen, I hoped that he could insert more needles in my head. I truly looked like one of theTeletubbies!

Three weeks into my treatment, my period came. The magical effect of Dr. Wen’s needles was once again evident. Surprisingly, I no longer experienced heavy menstrual bleeding. I didn’t have to put a heavy-duty sanitary towel underneath me in the night, nor would I wake up in terror due to the bloodstainson the bed anymore; I was able to sleep through till morning. The menstruation the next month was completely normal. Most importantly, my face looked redder and brighter. My energy levels also increased.
