Facial nerve paralysis

Symptom : facial nerve paralysis

                                 New attitude towards the fast healing effect of acupuncture

On November 1, I was rinsing my mouth in the morning when I suddenly noticed water flowing out from my mouth. I really couldn’t rinse my mouth since it was inclined to one side. Besides, my left eye couldn’t open and close like it normally does and also couldn’t move my left cheek. I immediately went to see a western medical doctor at the Neurology Department. The doctor told me that it was facial nerve paralysis without any clear pathogenesis and that it has no known cure. Only steroid could control my symptom. If I get lucky, I could recover about 80% in maybe 6 months. So scared at that time, I was really hoping that it can be cured permanently. However, the doctor told me that acupuncture can probably help me recover faster. So I then luckily found a good Chinese medicine doctor on the internet, Dr. Wen. 

When I saw Dr. Wen for the first time, he confidently told me right away that I could have great improvement in about 2 weeks and that I could completely recover soon enough. I was skeptic at that time because the western medical doctor told me that the quickest time that I can recover is 6 months, now Dr. Wen is telling me that it’s possible in just 2 weeks. Nonetheless, I went to receive the acupuncture treatments every day and did feel the fast improvement of my could ly helpedondition. This made me believe that I would really recover and get better soon. After my 14th treatment, I have recovered by 90% already, my eyes opening and closing normally and my mouth back to normal as well.
